Workshop On Strengthening Cooperation With Local Governments And Development Agencies Was Held In Antalya

Workshop on Strengthening Cooperation with Local Governments and Development Agencies was held in the scope of "Turkey's National Asylum System Strengthening Project" on July 30th to 31st and August 1st, 2019. The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Interior Directorate General of Migration Management and UN Refugee Organization (UNHCR).

During the 3-day workshop, Prof. Murat Erdogan from Turkish-German University, Dr. Onur Unutulmaz from Ankara University of Social Sciences , and  Dr. Fulya Memişoğlu from Yıldız Technical University made presentations on migration and integration. Two panels were organized and the first panel was participated by Ankara Development Agency, Şanlıurfa and Konya Metropolitan Municipalities together with DOGAKA. Hayri YILMAZ, one of experts in Sectoral Support and Programming Unit, who participated in the workshop representing DOGAKA, made a presentation explaining the activities of our agency for the Syrian refugees in the TR63 Region.

On the last day of the workshop, solutions for social cohesion, reduction of social tension and future steps were discussed and the workshop was concluded.
