Organized in the C Hall this year, 9.Olivtech will host thousands of local and foreign visitors. Participants from Çanakkale, Hatay, Balıkesir, Aydın, Mersin, Muğla, İstanbul and Manisa will meet with the professionals of the sector for 4 days. Olivtech also had two participants from Italy and Germany.
In the field of Hosted Buyer (Purchasing Delegation Program) which was established within the fair, negotiations were realized with buyers and exhibitors from all over the world. The purchasing boards from Georgia, Iran, Jordan, Iraq, Tunisia, Algeria, India, Lebanon, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Germany, Morocco, Switzerland, Greece, Sudan, China, Spain, Netherlands and Macedonia are the first visited the fair for three days. It was aimed that Turkish olives, olive oil and wines would reach to every point of the world and thus, many new agreements would be signed.
Olivtech, which will bring the sector together, has hosted important events. Sector addition to the interest meeting and seminar of the National Olive and Olive Oil Council's Quality Control Program Certificate Ceremony and the International Olive Council - the National Olive and Olive Oil Extra Virgin Olive Oil Quality Council of Turkey Award Ceremony was held. There will also be table olive tastings. On 6 and 8 March, Şahnur Irmak, Ferişte Güngör Öztürk, Meltem Zengin and Dudu Gönül Tolun have tasted various olives in the table olives. Olive and olive oils of all companies participating in the fair; Organized by İZFAŞ, the representatives of the International Olive and Olive Oil Council (UZZK) and Ege University Food Engineering students were introduced at Olive Oil Bar and Olive Bar.
