Karatepe Aslantaş Open Air Museum ın The Road Of Unesco World Heritage - DOĞAKA | T.C. Doğu Akdeniz Kalkınma Ajansı

As part of the efforts of the Kadirli Education and Culture Foundation (KAVAK) Adana Branch to include the Karatepe Aslantaş Open Air Museum on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Osmaniye Governorship, Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate, Osmaniye Chamber of Architects and Osmaniye Investment Support Office of our Agency were visited.

During the visits made by Chairman of the Board of Directors of KAVAK Adana Branch Emine ŞİŞMAN VARMIŞ and members of the board, opinions were exchanged on the works to be taken on the UNESCO World Heritage list of Karatepe Aslantaş Open Air Museum.

In this context, the actions that could be applied to the implementation of Karatepe Museum promotion with the logic of destination management and the institutions that could play a role in order to promote the other cultural richnesses of Osmaniye and increase the awareness of potential visitors on the cultural heritage of Osmaniye were discussed.

One of the result oriented programs of our Agency between the years 2018-2020 is the Culture Tourism Development Program and it is planned to carry out activities related to Cultural Tourism in the provinces of Hatay, Kahramanmaraş and Osmaniye with related institutions.
