Greenhouse Cultıvatıon Busıness Vısıt To The Mersin Has Been Organısed - DOĞAKA | T.C. Doğu Akdeniz Kalkınma Ajansı

2 days of Business Visit to the province of Mersin has been held on 12-13 May 2016 in order to promote inadequate green housing implementations in Hatay and Osmaniye (in spite of their favorable land structure, climate conditions and logistic opportunities), investigate plants and implementations on site, hold on consultations with the professionals of greenhouse cultivation and to extend high added value production methods and products.

Participants were Directory of Agriculture Chamber Mr. HüsamettinKeskiner, Assistant Professor Doctor from OsmaniyeKorkutAta University Organic Agriculture Management Department Ms. NeslihanKılıç, Unit Head of Osmaniye Provincial Directory of Food, Agriculture and Livestock Mr. HayriUyduran, Agriculture Engineer Mr. Mustafa Demir, Ms. ElifKeleş and Ms. Derya Bayaslı from Arsuz and Samandağ County Directory of Food, Agriculture and Livestock, Experts from DOĞAKA and greenhouse owners and farmers from both Osmaniye and Hatay.

Throughout the business visithouseplant, cut flower vegetable, strawberry and banana greenhouses in county of Akdeniz, Silifke, Bozyazı and Anamurvisited with the greenhouse contraction firms and debriefed by owners of greenhouses and by tech personal. Also Anamur Banana Production Association visited and get briefed by Agriculture Engineer and Director MrÖzcan Çelik. In the end of the tour much valuable knowledge and experiences has been exchanged among the colleges and participants got out from this business trip feeling very contented.
