International Shoe Fashion Fair (AYMOD) was organized at CNR EXPO Yesilkoy between 26-29 September, 2016.
The AYMOD, the world's second largest fair in its own lap, has exhibited products that appeal to every segment, from classical to modern style, pantyhose, bag, purse, luggage and belt. In AYMOD, which enables technology, fashion and design to be followed closely in the shoe sector, close to one thousand 500 brands have brought together spring-summer shoes and color models of next year with sector professionals for the first time.
National participation from South Africa
AYMOD, which will be participating as a participant of world famous brands which directs the fashion of shoes and saddlery, has been realized in an area of 60 thousand square meters. South Africa has participated nationally with 12 shoe companies at AYMOD Fair. Representing the Association of Footwear and Leather Goods in Germany; Senior consultant Elisaveta Gomann visited the fair and shared her experience in the sector with exhibitors.
60 Thousand Industry Professionals Came Togather
The fair, which is targeted by 60.000 sector professionals from domestic and foreign, is organized by CNR Holding organizations with the organization of Pozitif Fuarcılık, the Turkish Footwear Industry Association (TASD), the Turkish Footwear Sector Research and Development Education Foundation (TASEV), Turkey Genral Footwear Federation (TUAF), Istanbul Shoe Artisans Artisans Chamber IASEO), DOGAKA and KOSGEB.
The opening ceremony was held on Monday, 26th of September 2016, which is expected to be attended by more than 50.000 visitors from 60 countries and 60.000 m2 of which the opening ceremony was not held this year. Our Agency was established with 8 producers representing Hatay province shoe industry and İstanbul CNR EXPO International Fair Area 2, participated in a total area of 346 m2.
In AYMOD, where spring-summer shoes and sundries models of the coming year are exhibited; 'Saraciyeciler Street / Special Section' was established for the first time on the occasion of the business association made with Saraciye Industrialists' Association. In this special section which will be formed by the leading companies in the sector, 2017 bags, luggage, wallets and belt models and fashion were displayed.
Firms with footwear manufacturers who have established commercial ties with local and foreign shoe wholesalers have expressed their desire to participate again next year.
