Authorities from UNDP visited our Agency within the scope of “Strengthening Social Stability in South East Anatolia Region Project” run by South East Anatolian Regional Development Administration with technical assistance provided by UNDP. The project, funded by Government of Japan, aims at improving livelihood standards and strengthening social stability via better municipal services in Hatay, Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep and Kilis provinces in South East Anatolia in Syrian Crisis context.
Cenk Özbaykal (the Coordinator of Hatay Investment and Support Office) and Figen Gökşen (Deputy Head of Institutional Coordination Department), have informed Arif Mert Öztürk (UNDP Project Manager), Murat Akbaş (Field Coordinator) and Mehmet Murat Candemir (Development Expert) in the meeting held in headquarter of the Agency about regional economy and Agency’s works.
After getting information from the authorities of UNDP about the Project that started in April 2016 and will continue until March of 2018, the activities that can be performed in Hatay within the scope of the project and the cooperation and the future projects that can be realized in the region were discussed.
