With the support of DOĞAKA the textile firms of our region has expended to America Continent with Tecnotextile fair held between 7-10 April 2015 in Sao Paolo city of Brazil. 5 companies from our region has participated the fair which have been visited by 20 000 professionals.
Brazil, which is the fifth largest textile market, has an important import figure of 6.3 billion dolars and is considered as one of the target markets by the Ministry of Economy. At the same time Brazil, which is considered as a target, is one of the 4 most important developing economies of the world that are called BRIC. As a result of investigations carried out by our Agency it is seen that by entering the Brezilian market, our regional textile companies can access important business connections in South American Continent.
With the joint work of our Agency and Kahramanmaraş Chamber of Commerce it has been decided to attend Tecnotextile fair with the selected 5 companies. The Tecnotextile trade fair is held every 2 years and is one of the most important textile trade fairs in Brazil.
As a result of the negotiations held during the fair it has been observed that visitors from other countries of South America are showing great interest in our companies. While meetings are held with Associação Brasilesiera de Técnicos Téxteis (ABITT-Brazil Tecnical Textile Union) connections were being made with Brazil Trade Attache of Turkey. The fair which continues for 4 days is expected to provide a significant contribution to the textile sector of our region.
