Representatives of Kahramanmaras Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kahramanmaras Provincial Directorate of Industry and Technology, Kahramanmaras Commercial Province Directorate, Kahramanmaras Commodity Exchange, Afsin Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University Faculty of Economics, Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Kahramanmaras Sutcu Imam University Faculty of Forestry , KOSGEB Kahramanmaras Directorate, Kahramanmaras Organized Industrial Zone, Turkoglu Organized Industrial Zone, Kahramanmaras Technopark Executive, Kahramanmaras Industrialists and Businessmen Association, TÜMSİAD Kahramanmaras Branch, Entrepreneur Women Association Kahramanmaras Women Cooperative, Kahramanmaras Women Cooperative Presidency attended the workshop that moderated by DOGAKA’s General Secretary Onur YILDIZ.

Following the opening speeches, a presentation was made about the current state of the Kahramanmaras’ industry and the workshop methodology. Then, topics such as access to finance, human capital, institutional restructuring, physical infrastructure, access to national and international market and adhesion, production costs, state subsidies, quality and branding, professional consultancy requirement, legislation issues, economic uncertainty, as determined by the ministry and the topic of socioeconomic impacts of Syrian refugees as added by DOGAKA were discussed.

The problems detected and the solution proposals will be reported to the Ministry of Industry and Technology after the meetings in the provinces are finalized.
