“THE FUTURE OF THE INDUSTRY ON THE WAY OF NATIONAL TECHNOLOGY, POWERFUL INDUSTRY: PROBLEMS AND SOLUTION PROPOSALS” themed meeting was held in Osmaniye by DOGAKA, referring to the official letter of Ministry of Industry and Technology for development agencies.
Osmaniye Mayor Kadir KARA, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University’s Rector Prof. Dr. Murat TÜRK, Osmaniye Korkut Ata University KÜSİ represantative Associate Prof. Bülent YANIKTEPE, Osmaniye Chamber of Commerce and Industry’s Chairman Devrim Murat AKSOY, Osmaniye Provincial Assembly’s President Mehmet ALTUN, Osmaniye Provincial Deputy Director of Industry and Technology Orhan BİLİCİ, KOSGEB Osmaniye Director Nihat KARADEMİR, Osmaniye OIZ Deputy Director Musa GÖNÜL, Kadirli OIZ Assistant Director Faruk TEMEL, Osmaniye Commodity Exchange Board’s Chairman Sait ÇENET, TÜMSİAD Branch President Murat ÖZKARDEŞ and industrialists and businessmen attended the meeting that started with Osmaniye Governor Ömer Faruk COŞKUN’s and DOGAKA’s General Secretary Onur YILDIZ’s opening speeches.
Following the opening speeches, a presentation was made about the current state of the Osmaniye’s industry and the workshop methodology. Then, topics such as access to finance, human capital, institutional restructuring, physical infrastructure, access to national and international market and adhesion, production costs, state subsidies, quality and branding, professional consultancy requirement, legislation issues, economic uncertainty, as determined by the ministry and the topic of socioeconomic impacts of Syrian refugees as added by DOGAKA were discussed.
The results and the solution proposals will be reported to the Ministry of Industry and Technology after the meetings in the provinces are finalized.
