Eastern Mediterranean Development Agency (DOGAKA) that operate in Hatay, Kahramanmaraş and Osmaniye provinces’ specialist Erdal İLBAY, on invitation of Çukurova Development Agency that operate in Adana-Mersin region gave Social support Program (SODES) application process training to ADANA Governorship SODES experts on 26-27 September 2017 in Adana.
DOĞAKA Expert Erdal İLBAY, who made the presentation and gave information of the SODES program objectives, supported topics, cost estimates by sample SODES project reviews. At last, operation of the SODES-BIS project application system had worked for application, evaluations and operation of projects.
SODES programme targets people who are in poverty, unemployed or in needs of the integration to changing social structure. SODES Program supports social inclusion, employment, culture, arts and sports locally. The goal of the human-focused and project-based SODES program is to increase the employability of the disadvantaged segments of society, and in particular the greater participation of children, youth, disabled and women in economic and social life. The said program can be applied to public institutions and organizations, local governments, professional organizations in the form of public institutions, non-governmental organizations.
DOGAKA contributes much to the SODES Program by application of 3 years in (2011-2012-2013) its region and have great experiences not only applying program but developing it by Agency’s process. Success of program application ability of Agency has made other SODES program applying provinces call Agency specialists to share their experiences with them. In this context, developing effective project application experience shared with Adana Governorship project office.
