Fair Preparatory Meeting has been held in DOĞAKA Seminar Hall on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 with the valuable participation of the exhibitors, KOSGEB Provincial Director of Hatay Mr. Kenan SERT, Assistant Secretary General of Antakya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Mr. Erhan YAĞIZ, President of Hatay Olive Olive Research Institute Mr. Sabahattin ABAY, Hatay Olive Oil, Soap By-Products Production and Marketing Cooperative Chairman Mr. Yusuf İSHAKOĞLU, Secretary General of DOĞAKA Mr. Onur YILDIZ and the sector representatives as well.
On the opening speech of the meeting, DOĞAKA Secretary General Mr. Onur YILDIZ emphasized the place and importance of the production of olive-growing sector in the zone development and informed about the supports that our Agency has provided since the establishment of the olive and olive oil production.
KOSGEB Provincial Director of KOSGEB Hatay Provincial Directorate Mr.Kenan SERT, informed sector representatives about the support mechanisms of their institutions to the sector representatives with their presentations on "SME-SME Development Support Program Project Call for Proposal Development of Institutionalization in SMEs and Transition to Branding in SMEs".
Antakya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO) Deputy Secretary General Mr. Erhan YAĞIZ emphasized that they are pleased to be in touch with DOGAKA in the preparations of this international olive oil fair OLIVTECH 2017.
Hatay Olive Oil, Soap By-Products Production and Marketing Cooperative President Mr. Yusuf İSHAKOĞLU mentioned the importance of our region on this sector and announced the participants that Hatay will be the “Partner City of this Fair" and also TR63 Level 2 Region will be the “Partner Region: Eastern Mediterranean" and also he encouraged all the participants to make special preparations for this fair in this regard.
Mr. Sabahattin ABAY, Hatay province Olive Research Institute Manager, who is one of the participants of the fair, made both corporate presentations and enlightened our company officials about what kind of support they can provide to the manufacturer firms.
In the coordination of our agency, we would like to participate in representing the olive, olive oil, milk, dairy products and natural soap production sector in the scope of the preparations for the fair, in our coordination with our agency, Hatay province producer participating companies have accelerated their production in order to meet their products to be exhibited during national and international buyers.
What is more, it is also aimed to provide regional participation in order to carry out global commercial cooperation by transporting producers in the milk and dairy products, soap, food technology sector, especially olive and olive industry, to the international platform.
Our Agency has the cost of "Gurme İzmir: OLIVTECH 2017 International Olive, Olive Oil, Dairy Products and Technology Fair" attendance support costs such as floor space cost, stand construction and furnishing expenses, catering and planning of two hostesses dedicated to the use of our products, The cost of personnel such as transportation, accommodation and freight will be covered by their own means.
Within the scope of the meeting, the meeting was completed after confirming and determining the settlement places of the companies in the fair area, taking the opinions and suggestions of the companies for the stand construction works.
