Tourism development workshops were held with the representatives of relevant institutions and organizations in Osmaniye (Merkez), Kadirli and Düziçi as part of the Osmaniye Province Tourism Strategy and Action Plan under the auspices of Osmaniye Governorship and with the coordination of DOĞAKA and Osmaniye Culture and Tourism Provincial Directorate.
In order to give direction to the tourism sector of Osmaniye province workshops were held on September 17 at Kadirli District Culture and Art Center; On 19 September at Düziçi District Governorship Public Education Center; On September 20 at Osmaniye Royalton Hotel which was chaired by Osmaniye Governor Mr. Ömer Faruk COŞKUN.
In the workshops organized, the existing potential, strengths and weaknesses of the province, opportunities to be evaluated in terms of tourism, and obstacles to progress were expressed by the participants and action suggestions were tried to be determined by SWOT analysis method.
In addition to public institutions, representatives of the private sector and non-governmental organizations attended to the workshops. The results of the workshops, which will be the basis for the strategy and action plan will be shared with the public.
