DOĞAKA organized technical visits to the several aquaculture producing and processing plants located in Adana and Konya. Public officers, NGO members and aquaculture producers have attended to the visit.
Kahramanmaraş province is one of the most important inland aquaculture producers of Turkey. At the moment, almost 40 firms are producing rainbow trout in the cages and pools located in the lakes and rivers respectively.
So as to decrease the risks regarding the low product range, i.e. trout, DOĞAKA organized this technical visit to introduce new products and aquaculture species that can be cultured in Kahramanmaraş.
