The exhibition was opened by the Governor of Istanbul  Mr. Vasip SAHIN, Istanbul Chamber of Industry Chairman Mr. Irfan ÖZHAMARATLI, Istanbul Shoe Industry and Chamber President Mr. Huseyin CETIN and valuable members of the protocol as well. Local and Foreign representatives of the shoe industry welcomed the fair on 30th March, 2016.

What is more, there were 10 shoe producer SME companies from Hatay/ Antakya supported by T.R. Eastern Mediterranean Development Agency in a total area of 376 m2, representing Hatay with men's footwear production.

Antakya Chamber of Commerce President and DOGAKA Board Member Mr. Hikmet ÇİNÇİN, Hatay Tradesmen and Artisans President and DOĞAKA Development Council Member Mr. Abdulkadir TEKSÖZ and DOGAKA Secretary General Mr. Onur YILDIZ has participated to AYMOD 2016 International Fair Exhibition in order to support our producer companies and to make more effective planning by evaluating their opinions and proposals for the following years byu focuing on their importance within the sector.

Shoe producer companies of our region that is located in Istanbul CNR Expo Center Hall No. 2 under DOGAKA support have shown interest both in domestic and foreign shoemakers. Moreover, our shoe manufacturers have also established commercial links with foreign footwear wholesalers from countries like Iran, Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, England, Belgium, Jordan and after all, our companies from our region have expressed their wish to participate in the fair again next year.
